Michigan and is listed in Robert McCord's reference book,The
479 Best Public Golf Courses in the United States, Canada, the
Caribbean, and Mexico.
Nestled among hardwoods, the golfer will experience the
feeling of being in "Northern Michigan," as wildlife abounds in
the rivers, ponds, and vegetation throughout the course. Golfers
are struck by the beauty of the tree-lined fairways. After
teeing off, golfers get a firsthand look at the 78 bunkers and
water hazards which majestically wind their way through 15 of
the
18 holes . It pays to be in the fairway. The rolling and
open course has strategically placed trees that really come into
play on second shots. Dramatic elevation changes are reminiscent
of the top Northern Michigan course.
